DESCRIPTION 
Fluoropolymers designed to stand the most extreme and unique conditions
Automotive fuel tubes, roofing membranes, semiconductor or wires have in common to endure the most extreme operating conditions. From chemical resistance or harsh outdoor exposure, these parts are expected to stand a broad scope of aggression, while ensuring heat stability or good electrical properties. To meet these demanding and various expectations, DAIKIN has developed two exhaustive range of Fluoropolymers:
– POLYFLON Series, a variety of high-performance PTFE. Available in fine powder, molding powder or dispersion used for tubes, membranes, etc.
– NEOFLON Series, a complete array of melt-processable fluoropolymers such as FEP, PFA, ETFE, PCTFE, suitable for pipe, sealant, roofing, etc.

NEOFLON PFA AP-Series has excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance and weatherability. It resembles PTFE but can be melt-molded. The high-purity PFA-SH series has made big achievements in the manufacturing process of semiconductors due to the low elution of fluoride ions and particles. Daikin lines up product items of general grade, high purity grade, and antistatic grade.

– A copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkylvinyl ether.
– Various melt molding methods are available such as extrusion molding, injection molding, transfer molding, and compression molding.
– It has been used in many semiconductor sites due to its highly purity by stabilizing treatment of end groups.
– Heat resistance, inertness for almost all chemicals and excellent weatherability.
– Retains mechanical strength at a wide temperature range from-200°C to 260°C.
– It is excellent in electrical insulation and high-frequency characteristics. It effectively works in the field of electronics
such as high speed communication cables.
– It has excellent flame retardancy (limiting O2 index 95 vol%, UL94V-0).

NEOFLON PFA is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkyl vinylether. It is a perfluoro polymer consisting of only carbon atoms and fluorine atoms without any hydrogen atom. It has the same excellent performance as PTFE in a wide range from extremely low to high temperatures. In addition, it has excellent transparency, mechanical strength at high temperature. It can be molded in the same molding method as general thermoplastic resins.
